PLF form questions

We are flying from DFW to FCO and then on to PMO (same ticket). Would this be considered a direct flight or indirect flight where I would have to include the DFW to FCO leg? How soon can I submit the form? We leave in less than two weeks. I don’t have seat assignments for the last leg to PMO. Should I just fudge that one? Between this form and the one for Sicily, I am getting agita and agree with another poster on the forum that we should have just waited another year to travel. So many frustrating hoops to jump through. Thanks.

If you get off the plane and change planes, it's not a direct flight. You have a transfer. You can submit the form anytime and edit it if there are any changes. If you don't have seat assignments, you can just leave that blank, if I remember correctly.

The reason I was told to wait til closer to the date was because of any flight changes which seem to be happening a lot and the form needs to be accurate. You can go in and fill most of the form out and do a temporary hold before you submit. It states you need to include ‘all’ legs of your inbound trip and just a personal opinion, but I would not “fudge” anything. This is an official Italian government form that you state is accurate.

BB, maybe your form was different but when I tried to go past seat assignments yesterday, it came up in red that the box had to be filled.

Well, I guess I need to wait until I am allowed to get seat assignments for the FCO to PMO. That may be closer to the date we fly. And it may not be until 24 hours before the flight. I just want to get it done in case I run into any issues. From what I have read on this forum, the powers that be barely even look at it.

Weird. Maybe I had seats selected already, but I didn't think I did on my Easy Jet flight. I filled most of it out in advance, got a QR code, and was able to edit it later.
