I recently returned from an Italy trip where I rented a car. Upon reaching a toll booth on the Autostrade I realized I didn't have cash to pay the toll. I was given a receipt stating that I can pay by credit card online at www.autostrade.it. We hired a car from Pisa Airport to Venice. (Travelled from Leaning tower of Pisa to Venice Camping Village cavalliano) I dont remember which exit it was but Unfortunately we lost that Ticket ... I couldn't find it anywhere...So all i know is Car reg number ..and the date ..we passed on this toll ...Could you please help me on this..how to get the number of it or can we just pay using the car reg number ??? Please advise me on this ...as i need to pay this by 15 days ...I dont know Italian ..So please advise me the best way to contact them. I tried to contact them using the Phone numbers in the Autostrade website both information and call center one..but ..They couldnt able to understand the english..or i dont understand what they are speaking?? it is either way and am very worried now!! Please help me

In order to pay online the website requires you to enter a number that is printed in the receipt you received at the time. The freeway entrance you took was probably "Pisa Nord" and, if you took the right route, you should have exited at "Mestre Est" then you would have taken the bypass toward the airport to go to Jesolo. The total toll would have been €25.40. Even if you had no cash, you could have paid by credit card at the proper toll booth displaying the cards logo (blue sign saying CARTE with cards logos).
However knowing the entrance and exit toll gates doesn't necessarily help you without that receipt number. Without that you can't even advance to the next web page.
