Planning visit to Uffizi on Thursday May 2nd

We will be arriving in Florence on Thursday AM and would like to book a late afternoon time at the Uffizi and have enough time to see Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli Gardens. Would 3 PM give us enough time?

The other option is to visit on Saturday but I assume there will be more crowds.

Thanks,
Sharon

Sharon, having done the Uffizi and Pitti/Boboli, there's no way I'd try and do all three on the same day. Both the Uffizi and Pitti are vast and take some endurance! The Boboli Gardens cover some serious ground as well. And really, during high season the Uffizi is going to be busy all the time but you might do that one on Thursday and the Pitti/Boboli on Saturday as, while it'll probably be busy too, it won't be AS busy as the Uffizi.

Thanks Kathy:
If I buy the combination tickets on the Uffizi website for Thursday will that allow me to see the Pitti and Boboli Gardens on another day? Or do I have to buy seperate tickets? I found the ticket website a little confusing.

Sharon, there is a combo pass for the Uffizi, Pitti and Boboli that's good for 3 consecutive days. See this page:

https://www.uffizi.it/en/pages/combined-ticket

You will have to make a timed-entry reservation for the Uffizi but can visit the Pitti/Boboli afterwards without a reservation within the 3-day life of the ticket. So, if you buy that ticket and make your reservation for the Uffizi for Thursday, you can visit the Pitti/Boboli on Friday or Saturday. What you could NOT do is visit the Uffizi on Thursday and the Pitti/Boboli on any day after Saturday.

"Free" days throw a bit of a complication to the plan but your dates don't fall on any of those.
