Planning trip advice ...

Hi everyone, I was hoping to get some general advice. My cousin and I are going to plan a trip that could be ranging from about 16-18 days. I would like to do Italy and Greece, I was thinking maybe 8ish days in both places.

We haven't planned out any specifics yet, but I was wondering if people think it would be too rushed? Should we just focus on spending all of the time in Italy or Greece? Any advice would be great, thanks so much!

I think that is reasonable. But 8 days is not enough for Italy and 8 days maybe too much for Greece. I would do an open jaw ticket into Rome or Milan and home from Athens or the reverse. If you include some island hopping in the Greek isles, then eight days might work well.

Thanks! So maybe we will try and plan around 10 days in Italy and 8 days in Greece (I'm thinking Athens and 2 islands). That's exactly what I was thinking at this point, flying into Rome and flying out of Athens. Thanks again for the advice.

What time of year are you planning on going? What are your approx. ages? What do you enjoy doing? What kind of budget do you have?

Share answers to those questions and you'll get better responses. Right now, your question is just too vague. (You can imagine how different the responses will be if you and your cousin are in your 70s or in your 20s.)
