Hopefully you've purchased a good guide book by now. You'll find all sorts of information about sites to visit and other excursions of interest. There are so many good sites in all of the cities you'll be visiting, that I wouldn't really worry about scheduling in operas and concerts (though a wine tour in Tuscany would be a lovely addition).

There are opportunities to take gondola rides in Venice and take boat tours out to the islands where there are glass blowing shops. All this info, again, can be found in your guidebook.

The only thing that you might want to make a reservation for is the Borghese gallery in Rome. It is a wonderful museum with a few of Bernini's greatest sculptures, (I don't know about concerts and operas.) I have always been able to sign up for wine tours a day in advance while at the hotel. It's usually no problem.

I'm sure that you will see all of the known sites in Rome, but do yourself a favor and return to see the Pantheon at night. It is one of my favorite things to do and it has a magical quality to it at night.

Venice will probably be very crowded in two weeks, try and just wander around the city and see some of the non touristy sections. The whole city has a wonderful feel of decay. I enjoyed just wandering around all the little dead ends at night. Very cool.

Oh, while in Venice, avoid all of the restaurants near St. Marks Square and in general all of the touristy sites. They will rip you off if they are not watched. Unfortunate but true.

Congratulations, and enjoy you time in Italy!

In addition to the Pantheon at night, the Trevi fountain at night is even more spectacular than during the day.
