I see in one of your previous posts that you're not much into art anyway, and there no rule saying you HAVE to see the Uffizi and Accademia. There are plenty other museums in Florence, and plenty of those won't be as difficult to digest as the Uffizi.
But didn't you bring a guidebook? Those are largely essential for figuring out what appeals to you when looking for sightseeing activities and should be your first reference.
That said, try these:
Museo San Marco
Museo Bargello
Piazza Michelangelo and San Miniato church (above the piazza)
Piazza della Signoria and Loggia dei Lanzi
Piazza della Santissima Annunziata, (a favorite of mine) church of the same name and Innocenti Museum.
Santa Croce (Michelangelo is buried here)
Santa Maria Novella
Santa Trinita
Santa Maria del Fiore (duomo): the church itself is free - no tickets needed except for the dome - but you'll likely have to stand in line. A cumulative ticket will be available at the ticket office that will get you into the the museum, baptistry, crypt and belltower, if you wish to climb it, so the only piece you'd miss would be the dome.

That's just a start! Some of these will provide a look at Renaissance artwork - some of that still in place after many centuries - that won't be as overwhelming as the Uffizi to manage. If you didn't bring a guidebook, this is a good website for ideas and information:
