Places to stay in Vernazza...

1) Has anyone stayed @ Armanda's (as recommended by R. Steves') or Maria Capellini's "cozy studio" (Tripadvisor)? How is the "cozy studio" bathroom (I can't tell from the pictures.)

2) Giuliano Basso's Db-suite is also avialable. Is it really worth the $ and how bad is the train noise?

3) Has anyone been there many times and found a phenomenal place to stay, with a reaction of: "OMG, why didn't we find this place sooner!"

Please HELP!

If you do a search for Memo Rooms you will find excellent accomodation. It is on the main st. but only one flight of stairs to your room. The entrance is right on the street. We stayed there in 2006 and would gladly stay again.What made it better was seeing some of the other places we had considered and the number of stairs required just to reach the building.

There is a little morning and evening noise but most acceptable.
