Places to sleep & eat in CT; Anyone use Air BnB?

What town would be your favorite for eating in CT? Has anyone used Air BNB for accommodations? Trying to decide on which town to stay in.

I have stayed twice in Monterosso; it's my favorite town to stay in and eat in. It's the largest of the 5 CT towns/villages and therefore has the most dining options. Monterosso is also the flattest town and easy to get from the train station to just about any hotel with luggage in tow. My favorite restaurant from my last trip (Sept 2013) was La Cantina di Miky (not to be confused with Ristorante Miky). You can dine beachside, in their enclosed garden or downstairs in the restaurant itself and the quality of food and prices were very good. We ate there 3 times and loved it each time.

I have not ever used Air BNB but I understand a lot of folks do and have heard good things about them. I don't know what your budget is but we stayed at Hotel Pasquale this past September and really enjoyed it. Every room has an oceanfront view and the hotel was very clean and comfortable.

Have a great trip!

We love Airbnb, used it this past summer in Norway with great results. We are taking our 2nd trip to Italy in a few weeks and have booked three Airbnb stays while there, one in Bonasola just north of CT. We stayed in Deiva Marina last time (also north of CT) in a friends apartment. Both are a super short train to the Ct and cost much less. My favorite of the CT is Monterosso - Old Town. Rick Steves lists Enoteca Da Eliseo. It was our favorite place for wine. Monterosso was also our favorite for dining overall, but we loved Enoteca Il Pirun in Corniglia. Another great stop for pastry, cannoli, is Il Pirata in Vernazza! Enjoy!

also in Vernazza - La Marina Rooms to stay, and the Belforte to eat. Rick's Vernazza section practically covers the whole small town.
