Places for Dinner in Venice's Cannaregio District

Looking for suggestions for dinner that we could sit outside canal side and not break the bank. Also are there must see things to do in this area before dinner?

Anice Stellato, Vini da Gigio, Ostetra da Rioba.
It is a large area very near the former Jewish Ghetto which has some interesting displays relating to the Holocaust.
The church of Madonna dell'Orto is in Cannaregio. Artist Tinoretto is buried there and several of his paintings decorate the church.
We loved our two week stay in Cannaregio.
The docks for the Vaporetto to Murano, Burano, and Torcello are on the north side of Cannaregio.

Hopefully you'll get lots of answers here--but for a very specific question such as this, you might also want to post your question on another travel website (the name of which shall not be mentioned here).

Il Paradiso Perduto and Diana's both have canal side dining. Il Paradiso make an RSVP for sure, it's popular with locals and college students. I prefer Diana's food and menu though. Anice is nice but a little pricey and menu is limited. Not much to do in area but walk around and admire the buildings, it's a very residential area but I like it.
