We love Hotel Ai Mori D'Oriente in the quiet back canal area of Cannaregio.
You can research lodging , read reviews on booking.com, then book directly for the best price. You're a bit late for October, for the more moderately-priced accommodations. Good luck.Safe travels!

Accessible: no stairs, elevator only or close to vaporetto stop?
