Any recommendations for an inexpensive hotel in Venice? I will be in my own for a few days and then my husband is meeting me in Venice for a few more days. Suggestions? Thank you.

Wait, aren't you already in Venice?? Okay, I guess that wasn't very funny! We stayed at Pensione Guerrato in the Rialto area. I think they have single rooms, so you could stay in one of those and then move to a double when your husband arrives. That would save some money. It is nice and also on the inexpensive side by Venice standards. Venice is not cheap!!

Define "inexpensive" in dollars or euros and you'll get better results. And since prices vary by season, let us know when you'll be there. Also, although Pensione Guerrato is one of our favorite places in Venice, they do NOT have single rooms.
