We are part of Rick Steves Sicily tour on Oct 1 2023 but plan on arriving in Palermo a day early. We tried to book the same hotel the tour begins at but it is full. Any suggestions where to stay.

Since you are new here, just want to check that they are full per an email to the hotel, and not just per online check?

We had that same problem for our tour last spring. We ended up staying at B&B Delle Vittorie, via Bari 52 and loved it. We were able to walk from that hotel to the Hotel Ambascatori which was our tour hotel.
