We are in Siracusa, Sicily now and want to do some sightseeing around the island. Any suggestions on places to stay in Agrigento, Palermo and/or Cefalu. Any restaurant suggestions for those areas?
Ciao,
KelliPaul

We stayed at Hotel Akragas when we visited Agrigento a couple of years ago. You can google it and see what you think. In Palermo we stayed at Hotel Letizia on via dei Bottai ([email protected]). It was rather more expensive than we were used to paying on that trip (I think it was 125 euro) but it's a charming little place and we had a splendid large room. Buona fortuna.
KelliPaul, in Agrigento I stayed at a very beautiful B&B called Camera con Vista. It is a newish building, large rooms and a bathroom large enough for swinging the proverbial cat. If you do contact them, and have a reply from Kate, tell her Pat from Wodonga recommended her. She is an Aussie from a close-by town. It is close to the Temples, with a great view of the floodlit area at night. It is in walking distance to the Temples, but one day, one of the employees(?) who is also a guide at the Temples, gave me a lift on his rather flash motor bike. In Palermo, another B&B called Casa di Zia on the main via Roma. Lovely big room but noisy. Restaurants...just see what pops into view. Enjoy.
The Terrazze di Montelusa Bed and Breakfast is great in Agrigento.

Hotel Ambasciatori has a good location in Palermo.
