I am interested in a B & B or pensiones, clean but not expensive near the airport for one night, Nov. 15th. Does anyone know of a nice place. Thank you

There are a couple of chain hotels very close to Marco Polo. I believe a Marriott and a Holiday Inn. There is also the Titian Inn which is fairly close. All are adquate for airport hotels, but none are very charming or great. If i might ask, Why do you want to stay out by the airport? What is your itinerary before the 15th like? Perhaps we can make some suggestions for a beeter farewell to Italy than an airport hotel.

Last year, we stayed at Villa Dolcetti which is about 14 km from the airport. The rooms were very large (with bath), the breakfast was plentiful and the owner was very friendly and helpful. During our stay, he was taking a couple to the train station. You might inquire if he can take you to the airport. Otherwise, as the previous poster noted, there is a Marriott property close by. Have a wonderful trip.
