I will be on the Rick Steves Italy in 9 days tour. After the tour ends will be spending a week in Florence.
After many attempts, finally reserved the Accademia- Musei del Bargello. This of course required setting
up an account. Just now when I tried to reserve a pass to the Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens it would
recognize my email. Completely frustrated.
So after this long intro can I get into the Pitti Palace without a reservation?
Perhaps arrive early in the day on a Wednesday.

You shouldn't need to pre-purchase a ticket; just go there and buy at the entrance.

I was there this month and no timed entry needed. The only timed entries we booked in advance were the Duomo climb, Uffizi and Accademia.

more fruitless time on line.
