I will be traveling this July from Pisa to Venice. We will be leaving Pisa on a Sunday afternoon and need to be in Venice on Wednesday afternoon. We could rent a car or take a train. So do you have ideas of places to stop along the way and see? Florence is an obvious one but two of the four of us have been there before. Also Revenna was another thought we had. Some ideas would be great. Thanks

Lucca, Florence, Bologna, Ferrara and Padua are all cities along your itinerary. Ravenna, Verona and Vicenza would require only a minor deviation. Except for Florence, which has too much to offer to be done in one day, each of the others can be visited in less than a day.
