Do you think it's necessary to purchase ticket in advance for the Leaning Tower? We'll be there around Oct. 7th.

Not in October it's not. BTW, be sure to go inside both the duomo and the baptistery. They're pretty amazing.

No admission needed to view the leaning tower. Only admission is to climb it, which only some do.
