Pisa in December

We will be arriving in Pisa on Friday and, as suggested, plan to drive past the Leaning Tower on our way out of town. We will be staying in Selvatelles, Pisa. The travel goal is Cinque Terre and Florence. Since our time is short (Friday-Monday) Any suggestions on what to prioritize and what to avoid? Out of the way places are highly sought after. Thank you in advance!

Pisa 2hours should be ok Friday
Then go directly from Pisa to the CT (spend night Of Friday to Saturday there).
Then leave CT on Saturday latest at noon and go to Florence (spend nights of Sat and Sunday in Florence).

Note however that the CT in January is not at its best. If rainy and muddy, not so nice to go there. You May decide to go or not to go once you are in Italy. CT will be relatively dead in Winter also.
In case you want some other alternative, you could do Lucca or Siena ( direct bus from airport).
Florence deserves 2days at the very least.

Pisa, Florence and CT are hardly out of the way places... so not sure what you are asking for here?
If you have a car and truly want out of the way places with such a short time why not just drive around the countryside till you find a quaint little village and stay for a few days? But. if your destinations are set, then I am not sure what benefit you will get having a car (from someone who drives most of the time) Parking in Florence and CT are both a nightmare, and while I have done it, I would not recommend it.

Without having a lot of time to discover the countryside I don't see any benefit in having a car. Just do the train to your destinations.

You cannot literally "drive by" the Tower in Pisa, it's in a pedestrian zone.

If you stop at Pisa you wll see there is more to offer than a leani g tower! Go inti the Campo Santo and the Babtistry at least.
