Pisa airport cash machines

Does anyone have experience with cash machines at the Pisa airport? Are they extremely busy?
Can I depend on them to get my first withdrawal of cash after arriving in Italy? Are there several cash machines in the airport? The airport map only shows one location for a cash machine. Any info would be appreciated.

I will only comment that unless you are on one of the few flights from North America, the number of cash machines should not be a problem. 90% of the people using the airport will be coming from countries where euro is the currency and will already have it in their wallet, or the UK where they are likely to have a supply already. I've never run into huge lines at the ATM machines unless its a flight landing from the US filled with American tourists. Even then the line disappeared quickly. Where are you arriving from?

We were in Pisa this past June. The airport is small. I mean really small. We couldn't find an ATM to save our lives. We walked back and forth from one end to the other multiple times. Fortunately the small village we stayed in in Tuscany had like 5 banks so we were fine. Plus those banks let we withdraw €500 whereas the bank ATMs at the airport only let me withdraw €250.

I should clarify, I was only looking for a bank ATM. I didn't consider non-bank or Travelex ATMS.

If one could not find the airport ATMs, how was one able to withdraw 250 Euro from them? In any event, the website for the Pisa airport states where the ATMs are to be found.

Also note it has been found that Travelex machines in Heathrow give an honest exchange rate as long as one makes sure to avoid DCC, I personally verified this earlier this year, and I would suspect this will hold true elsewhere.
