There’s a special Pink Floyd exhibition at the modern art museum in Rome. Sounds like it was in London first, now in Rome. Not sure it’s going anywhere else. It’s a very extensive exhibit with lots of films, art work, instruments and of course music. Highly recommend it to Pink Floyd fans.

Floyd is known in Rome. A year ago March we stayed at a tiny apartment overlooking the Campo de' Fiori market. One late afternoon, a little chilly & dark after the vendors had left and the street sweepers had come, I heard music outside our window and went for a look-see. It was an amplified guitar and cello performing, for maybe 10 people, an instrumental version of 'Wish You Were Here', under the illuminated street lamps. It was beautiful and eerie and haunting and why we came to Italy.
