We will be staying at an Agriturismo (Cretaiole)around Pienza and will have a car for a week's stay. Has anyone stayed there? Would it be possible to do day trips to Pisa, Assisi or Orvieto? I have already planned to go to Siena, San Gimignano, Chianti area, Montalcino, Montepulciano and Cortona. Can anyone give suggestions on places that are not as touristy in the area?

If you don't get lots of helpful responses here, you might try the Slow Travel forum. There are lots of Pienza fans there. Same thing for the TripAdvisor forum, as there is one specifically for Pienza.
