Has anyone stayed in : 1. Locanda Dll'Orso Bevitore (Verduno, Cuneo) owned by Burlotto 2. Casa Boffa, Barbaresco I'm torn between these 2 places. Any ideas?

Don't know either hotel, but I would stay in Barbaresco.

I can't help you either but have a great restaurant suggestion in Verduno. It is called Trattoria dai Bercau, a local place where there is no menu. They keep coming around with platters of appetizers and you either take one or pass. Then they offer a couple of primis and then secondis. Wonderful food, casual, friendly place. Google it. There is a video of it, even.
