I read Rick's info on these cards in his book. Does anyone have a particular brand they recommend...or does it differ time to time? Also, which did you find was the best place to purchase them....post office? market? I see he suggests a lower denomiation in case there's a problem. Which lower one do you suggest? Lastly, is it best to purchase them once you get to your final destination rather than at the airport? Thank you.
Lynn,
You might want to ask this question in the "To The North" section which pertains to England.
Cheers!
And, calls are dirt cheap. If you buy a card that bills in 3 minute increments, calls are something like 1.9 cents per minute from the UK to the USA…1 minute increments are about 3 cents per minute. As Steve said, just wait and buy one when it’s convenient for you…don’t go out of your way just for an international calling card.
