Perugia then on to Venice

Traveling to Italy late September with first stop in Perugia for a week with friends. then on to Venice for second week base on our own. We have been to Italy many times but first time in Perugia. Looking to hire a driver preferably local from Perugia for a day to explore castel rigone, Citta Della Pieve, Deruta, Cortona or Assisi. Thinking Assisi we could explore on our own possibly Cortona also. Looking for a driver/guide to take us to interesting spots within those towns or any other ideas. We will explore Lake Trasimeno on our own just hopping on a train. Then on to Venice and doing a few day trips from Venice to possibly Verona and any other towns you could recommend. We have stayed in Venice before but it’s been awhile and are looking forward to exploring again! Then we end in Rome for two days. We have been each year so will just enjoy good food and walking around. Looking forward to checking out the newly renovated area where Caesar was stabbed. The cat sanctuary.
