Does anyone have any experience with Perugia during the Eurochocolate festival? We'll be staying near Spoleto while the festival is going on in October and would like to visit Perugia but are wondering if it's feasible to drive while the festival is going on or should we look into the train? Thanks!

Yes, I have been in Perugia during two of the Eurochocolate festivals. Both times were crowded beyond reason! Do the train and be prepared for wall to wall people and animals! Some bring their dogs. The festival is awesome with fabulous tastings and events. You will enjoy it. Get there early and leave early.
