Wonderful place but be careful of the quad room on the upper floor. It overlooks a courtyard that has a restaurant or bar right under your window. Much noise until late into the night. Since we were there in May, needed to keep the window open and put up with the noise.

hi Steve, there are a number of threads about Venice hotels here. Try the thread "Lodging in Venice other than Pensione Guerrato" that's currently on page 3, for a few recommendations from posters. The Guerrato seems to be very highly recommended by others on this board!

I stayed there last spring and loved it! You are just steps away from a new vaparetto stop and many of the rooms overlook a colorful market. The owners are super nice and very helpful with tips on Venezia.
