Does anyone know anything about this place? My husband's great grandfather lived there and we want to check it out.

There is actually quite a bit of info on the interwebs. Looks like no rail service, so you'll need to either bus from probably Pescara or rent a car for the most flexibility.
Plan on staying at least two nights. There is a wonderful feeling from being in the same spot your ancestors lived. There also appear to be some sights, a variety of accommodations as well. It is a bigger town of around 15,000.
For records, the most likely spot is the church office. It is easier if you know dates of birth, family names, date of their marriage, etc. Most places will photocopy records for you as well.
