Hello - I am hoping that someone might be able to assist me.
I was in Italy in June of 2013, and I guess I broke article 7 paragraph 1 of New Road-Code, by driving in a street without permission.
This was a ticket by one of the automated machines.
First I received a notice from Hertz that they were charging me to send my information to the police and then received an actual letter requesting payment from Corpo Polizia Minicipale from the Comune Di Signa.
In the letter, it requests that I credit the account with the fine, and provides me with Banc information in Signa. I am trying to use Western Union, but they want it to go to a person's bank account - which I don't have any name since it is for the police.
I have sent emails to the police dept using the email provided on the letter I received, but am not getting any response.
Has anyone else dealt with this issue? How does one send money?
