Pavia, accommodation

Hi, My Wife and I will be travelling north after spending 4 days in Lucca, we wish to spend about 3 days in Pavia, any advice on accommodation would be appreciated, in Pavia??, or agritourismo??. After Lucca, we actually have 6 nights before dropping our car rental at Milan linate airport. Any advice on "must see" areas would also be appreciated. We stayed in Milan a few years ago.

I did a day trip to Pavia for religious reasons – the tomb of Augustine of Hippo is there, in case it's of interest to you. Besides that, the. Certosa of Pavia is beautiful.

I have a feeling most people on this board see Pavia as a daytrip from Milano. For accommodations in Pavia, in case you don't get the variety or responses you would like, have you looked at booking.com?
