Is the full path along Cinque Terre secure and open?

Laurie, There are a huge number of "paths" in the Cinque Terre, but I assume you're referring to the No. 2 (Sentiero Azzurro) trails. I'm sure whichever trails are open will be "secure". At the moment, the No. 2 trails from Monterosso to Vernazza and Vernazza to Corniglia are open. The trails from Manarola to Corniglia and the famous Via dell'Amore from Manarola to Riomaggiore are closed, and will likely remain that way for the rest of the year. When are you planning to travel in that area? Happy travels!
