google maps shows the Positano ferry terminal at Spiaggia Beach---- also shows it about an additional hour by foot from Nocelle

That walk down from Nocelle to Positano doesn’t look far. It is. You can pick up a bus from Nocelle. I had a hard time finding the stop, so I just kept going. I finally found a group of other hikers halfway to Positano waiting for the bus. When it came it was full. At that point in the day, the buses get full of day trippers heading to the coast. We ended up hiking all the way down. It was brutal. Don’t get caught up there late in the afternoon.

Thanks for all the info. Yes, I was able to google map the walk from Nocelle to the beach w/ the ferry and wanted someone to verify that it was possible since it looked like you are walking on a narrow street w/ vehicles. I am going to look for a guide; I'm just not sure how to ensure it is someone reputable. I do like the pathofgods.com site though. It is very helpful.
