Pasta mantecata nella forma di Parmigiana

This October we will be in Venice, Florence, and Rome. We would really like to experience pasta mantecata nella forma di Parmigiana (cheese wheel pasta). Can anyone give us recommendations of restaurants that serve this. Thanks so much.

BTW: "Parmigiana" in Italy is a kind of vegetable cake (often made by eggplants) cooked in the oven.
"Parmigiano-Reggiano" is the name of the cheese.
I know that the names are very similar, but not related at all and could create a misunderstanding talking with Italians.

Said that, mantecare the rice or pasta inside a wheel of Parmigiano is not so common and often is done mostly for events. There are some restaurants who do it, but is often considered "old style", like in the Eighties, so the most of places stop to do it.

@ricky: is it a real part of the culinary culture, as a festa food? Or is it something done for tourists?

This should be pretty easy to find in Rome at Trattatoria that serve older fashioned and traditional foods.

Not recommendations - just examples:
According to trip advisor they have it at Trattoria Vecchia Roma

The respected Travernetta 29 in Trastevere is good and supposed to have it, but as is too common does not seem to have a functioning website

This is really a dish of Campagna and since Florence is closer to Parma and where this dish is from I think it's worth asking there.

Also here are a bunch of TikTok videos of restaurants in Venice doing it if you want to sort through them:

Good luck,
