Just confirming that we only need a valid passport that's not expiring in the next six months, not any visas, to visit italy for 15 days? Thank you!

Assuming you are a US citizen with no serious criminal convictions, you don't need a visa. Your passport only needs three months of validity.

Visa??? Assuming you're not going to be out of the country when it expires, you're fine. Just don't forget your Visa and Mastercard, they hate American Express. Ha ha ha... Get it, American??? Not really, it's the fees Amex charges them. Or is it???
