Passover in Italy

We will arrive in Ravenna 13 April and leave 16 April. I would like to explore the possibility of attending a Seder, either in Ravenna or Ferrara (or maybe even Bologna, though that is a distant third choice) but am not having any success researching this. Does anyone know of a website or resource I might check out? Thank you.

Thank you, Norma. I had found that site, but the links that sounded most promising ended in "error". And my Hebrew is far, far worse than my Italian. But, I did find a "luxury kosher skiing" package ( are they made of matzoh?) in Whistler, BC ! I will keep searching and googling. Thanks again!

Adventures in Northern Italy website has a Passover dinner in Ferrara listed in its itinerary, so it's possible. They are a tour company, however. I would just contact the synagogue in Ferrara and ask them. There is a larger synagogue in Venice. as I'm sure you know.

You might want to ask on Trip Advisor on the forums for the cities you will consider. A local might be able to steer you in the right direction. Another option would be to contact the synagogues in each place. Someone might have one you can go to.

Go to the Chabad website and look for the rabbis for Venice and Florence. I'm pretty sure that the one in Florence also serves for Bologna. Chabad is probably your best bet for a communal seder. Both are likely to have the information you are looking for.

Thank you everyone for the suggestions. I will follow up on them. חג פסח שמח. Happy Passover, Happy Easter to all.

Happy Passover/Easter to you. I think it would be so interesting to go to a Seder in another country. I assume the Haggadah will be in Italian rather than Hebrew. I know the Haggadah's I've seen have all been in English.

If you are at a Chabad seder, chances are there will be other tourists there too, and most of the Chabadniks speak good English (as many are from New York).

חג פשח שמח (which is Hebrew for Happy Passover to anyone who was wondering) back atcha.
