Does anyone know how I can participate in Vendemmia? I have found a few websites claiming that tourists can volunteer to help pick grapes at farmhouses/wineries in Chianti in exchange for a room. Of course, none of these websites list WHICH farmhouses support this. I'd really love to help pick grapes during the harvest, learn about the process, tour and stay at a winery/vineyard for a night or two.
If this information is misleading, and I can not participate in picking grapes, does anyone have recommendations for a farmhouse or scenic vineyard I can stay at for a night?
