Parma train station

Does anyone know if there is baggage storage at Parma train station? If not, has anyone found an alternative? Thanks.

With only four platforms, Parma station is too small for any luggage storage.

If you are only going to be in Parma on a day trip and if you’re passing through Bologna, there’s a left luggage office at the Bologna station.

We're going to Parma from Modena, but then going to Bologna from Parma. Thanks for the thought.

Hi David, if you find a good option that works for you, could you post the reply?

I just found out this week that I could return to Parma in September to see my favorite European cathedral. I will be changing trains in Parma, so I definitely want to stop for a couple of hours when I’m traveling between Lucca and Malpensa.

I contacted the hostel suggested by Roberto above and they do still have luggage deposit for day trippers. Thanks Roberto.

Glad you found a solution, David.

I took a chance in the meantime by emailing the hotel where we stayed two years ago and described some specific things we liked about the hotel and restaurant. I asked if I could have permission to leave my carry-on in their lobby while I visited the cathedral for an hour. ( My favorite church because of the amazing frescoes that line the walls, and the Bible verses in many languages on the block chairs up front.) Just heard back from the owner who replied positively and even suggested having coffee together when I arrive. : )
