We are traveling from Parma to Vernazza in July.
Has anyone ever take the bus ride from Parma to Pontremoli and then connect to a train to Vernazza at La Spezia?
Any information would be very much appreciated.

I believe the bus to Pontremoli is a replacement bus while the rail line is being rebuilt. By mid-September, regular rail service between Parma and La Spezia should be operating again.

I took the train the other direction (well, La Spezia with a change in Parma) a few years ago. I assume the route won't change, just rail system upgrades. It's pretty in parts as recall.
