What is the parking situation like in Rome? I have a car and need to park in the city overnight (one night). Hotel (near the Spanish Steps) says there is no parking at their facility.

Assuming that you are arriving from the North - Park outside of the city and take the train to Termini station. Get the subway there for a 10 minute trip to the subway stop about 50 yards from the Steps.
You DO NOT want to deal with parking anywhere in Rome.

I am renting a car for the day and need to park it overnight. I am staying near the Parliment bldg./Termini station.
Are you familiar with that area?
