parking in Ortigia

I am renting in Ortigia for a few days in September. I will have a car. I will be arriving on a Wednesday and leaving on Saturday. I understand there is a ZTL (time when you can not drive) from 5 pm until 2am Wed-Sat which is OK.
I am looking for a place to park the car during my stay. Can I book a reservation for parking? at Parking Talete or somewhere else?
Thanks for your help

There are a couple lots just before you cross the bridge onto Ortigia. There are also a few on the island itself. You can find them on Google Maps. We we’re only there for a few hours and didn’t spend the night. After crossing the bridge onto the island we turned left and went to the end where the lot was. At that time the parking machine only took 1€ coins. Had we not turned left and gone straight there is a ZTL about a block up. I suggest you contact the hotel where you will be staying and ask it where it recommends you park. Barring a suggestion from your hotel, the lot you mentioned is as good as any.

There does appear to be a Parking Talete facility on Ortigia, though I've read mixed reviews on using the EasyPark app to find it and to pay for it past midnight.

Lungomare di Levante Elio Vittorini, 96100 Siracusa SR, Italy

We parked in a surface lot near there that allowed 24 hour parking but there wasn't a way to reserve in advance.

I drove to Ortigia last summer as well. I unfortunately made the mistake of listening to my AirBnB owner who suggested that I park right in front of the apartment in the center of Ortigia. It was a nightmare. I ended up leaving the car at the Parcheggio Molo Sant'Antonio which had lots of empty spaces and was very easy to get in and out of. One thing to note, when I was there a guy at a tourism cart sold me my ticket for the day (I think it was 15 Euros) which I was worried was a scam, but it was the same price as from the machines in the parking lot. Just FYI.

I don't remember which parking lot it was (it was over one of the bridges in Ortigia) but our airbnb host told us there would be a man there walking around and if we paid him a euro, he would look for a free parking spot for us. He waited until someone pulled out and stood in the spot until we pulled in. Ask your airbnb host about this.
Tne next day we walked to the Roman Amphitheater and museum and left our car in that lot.

As always, never leave anything in your car (or hide it in the trunk) and lock it up.
