Hello, all. We are not dropping car in Milan because we are going towards lake Garda after we spend a day in Milan. We were thinking of leaving the car in the airport after dropping somebody ther and taking train to the city but wandering if it will be “ coming back” to the airport a good idea considering that. We are not looking for the cheap parking but safe, pals want to maximize our time in the city. Taking into consideration that we are coming from the airport and leaving for Garda same day and our first stop is “ last supper “ what would be the best place to park ( don’t mind payed parking). And , also , is there “ entrance fee” for the city on Suturday?
Thank you all for replying!
You could park at Linate Airport, much closer to the city, grab a taxi in.
Where are you coming from?
Which airport, Malpensa or Linate? Also what time are you dropping your person off at which airport and what time are your timed tickets to the Last Supper. Knowing this will help people give you better information. I believe you said this is happening on a Saturday but which month?
It is about an hour by train from the airport (Malpensa) so you are wasting a lot of time. Milan, like any large city, has parking garages both above and below ground. Find one. The 4/16 responses to your earlier, same question answered this question very well.
The internet delivers answers. Check out Car Parking EU/ Milan.
Plus it is 20 EUR for a round trip ticket per person from Malpensa into Milan, so it would get expensive with 2 or 3 people. What about you same question you posted several months ago?

As I replied several months ago, there are big auto silos corresponding to metro stops that will bring you in the city much quicker than parking at MPX that is very distant from the center. The parking at Molino Dorino is still there. Now that you tell that you are going to Garda, also the parking at Cascina Gobba may make sense. It is more distant from the airport than Molino Dorino, but right in direction Garda, and sits over the crossing of a major highway with metro line 2.
Thank you all for the reply. My mistake not mentioning airport name. It is MPX . We are going tomorrow and thanks to all your help we figured it out. I will let you know how it went. Thanks again!
