CAN SOMEONE TELL ME IF THERE IS PARKING AT THE TRAIN STATION IN PISA, AND IF SO, WHAT THE COST WOULD BE?

Chris, there's parking about 2-3 blocks away, an easy walk if you park light. SOrry, don't know the cost.

My friend just left his car at the Pisa airport for a week in Barcelona - that was 10 euro a day. Garages in Florence can be pretty expensive for full days/overnights though - from 35 to 40 euro for small calls in cheap places - up to 80 or more near/at the station. I could imagine it is comparable but maybe slightly cheaper in Pisa. If you can find a place on Google maps maybe you can call for an actual price.

There is a parking lot north of the tower with separate sections for motorhomes/caravans and tour buses and a small shopping center with public toilets and is not too far from the tower. It may be the same one Elaine mentioned. If you have to pay it will only be a euro or two per hour. There were some free spots available the year we went. Typically in Italy the white lines indicate free parking and the blue lines indicate pay parking although in Florence white lines are for residents so the rules could vary. I would not attempt to drive in Florence though. Sorry, I cannot remember the name of the parking lot in Pisa that I mentioned. It is not hard to find if you exit at the Pisa Nord from the Autostrada.
