Rick alluded to a new parking garage in the La Spezia Centrale Station in his most recent book (2010) on the CT. Anyone know if it's really there and the daily cost, etc?

Jim - It is there - I used it last year - within a couple minutes walk of the station!! Or, you can park it right on the street - no problem. What is a problem is how The Red Sox have started the year - Hate to say it But Big Papi has to sit and Mike Lowell has to be the DH.
When you take the local to Cinque Terre be sure to walk the section of trail - relatively flat and paved - between Manarola and Riomaggiore called the Via dell A'more (lovers path) - FANTASTIC A cafe halfway for a cold one!!
