Parking a rental car near the Parliament Building in Rome

I need to park a rental car for two days in Rome (August). How is the parking situation? My hotel, the Colonna Palace, says there is no parking at their hotel. Does anyone know if I can park near the hotel, or the Parliament bldg.?
