Park and Rides outside Rome

It looks like I can park on the outskirts of Rome, but still connected to the Metro for $5/day. What I don't know is if I can leave the car there for the 3 days that I'll be in Rome, or if it has to be moved daily. Can anyone help?

I can't imagine that being an issue and don't find any such warnings in various travel resources.
