Parco Aquedotti/Appian Way/Museum of the Liberation of Rome

So we wanted to check out the Museum, and Aquaducts and Appian Way (Possibly the Catacombs of St Sebastian)

We are coming from Trastevere and figured we'd start at the museum that opens at 9:30 and then head south on Metro A. I have directions to the Aquaducts taking Metro A to Subaugusta Station then down Tito Labieno ...so whats the best way to get to a good part of the Appian Way and the catacombs of st sebastain? any suggestions. maybe a good place for lunch around there. We have all day until a Segway tour up near Piazza Venezia around 7ish. How long do you think it would take from down there to Piazza Venezia? Thanks

If you are going to the liberation museum and the Quo Vadis church, you might be interested in the Fosse Ardeantina, site of the illegal massacre of over 400 Romans in reprisal for the killing of German soldiers by the Italian Resistance.

Thanks for the great info...I adjusted a few things.. Our plan was...although wondering if I have it correct. Any advice?

Saturday Morning Colloseum tour (8:30-11:30) and Mamertine Prison Visit morning - not sure how long that will take
Saturday afternoon: We figured taxi was quicker then public transportation

Taxi to Ardeatine Caves (how long to visit here? Are there audio guides or tours?) (wondering if this should be moved to Sunday)

Taxi to Church of St Paul outside the Wall

Taxi to Tres Fountane Abbey. (hours 4-6pm)

Sunday:

Walk from Trastevere to Mouth of Truth and walk by Circo Massimo and Catch Tram #3 to Manzoni for the Liberation Museum

Take Metro Line A to Subaugusta and walk to Aquaduct park to see aquaducts (picnic lunch along the way?)

Then Bus 660 to Appian Way and visit maybe San Callisto Tombs and Quo Vadis Church. should we get off at Cecilia Tomb or should we take Bus 118 to the catacombs. I guess the questions is- is it a nice enjoyable Sunday afternoon walk and how far would that be?

We have a Segway tour up by Piazza Venezia at 7 so we could eat down on Appian Way or up near Piazza Venezia. Any suggestions
