If one was planning a trip to Italy this spring, and had already booked a tour of Vatican Museums that included the Sistine Chapel and "fast entrance" to St. Peter's Basilica, how might one expect that tour to be affected if there is a Papal Conclave to elect a new pope at that same time? Theoretically speaking of course! I would not expect to have entrance to the Sistine Chapel. Do any of you wise travelers know what has happened during past conclaves, or what might one expect to happen in the future re. at least entrance to the Vatican Museums and/or St. Peter's? Thank you so much!
