Pantheon Souvenir

I was in Rome for vacation and found a small statue of the Pantheon that I intended to buy as a little souvenir. They are the ones that are sold pretty much everywhere and range from 1-2 Euros.

Of course, on the last day of my trip when I flew back from Palermo, I went back to the stand that was closest to my hotel to purchase it, and they had run out. I'm really bummed as I scoured the FCO airport before leaving and I am halfway across the world now. I'm wondering if anyone would know where I could buy a couple and have them shipped. My searches have turned up nothing on ebay or the world wide web in general so far. Any help is extremely appreciated. Thank you so much.

Hi Angie,

I may be able to help. I believe I know which little Pantheon statue you are speaking of. The ones sold for 1 Euro were of an ivory/white color and, while a small, decent size, it still had definitive details. They were available at many attraction sites as well as merchant shops.

I befriended a very nice man in Rome. He, his parents and siblings own a huge gift shop not far from the Vatican - maybe a 10-minute walk before you reach it. I have his store business card with his contact details.

His prices were very reasonable. Some things were made in Italy while others were mass produced. Maybe he has a few in his store or he can get them for you? It may be worth a try.
