I was in Rome last year and the lines were too long for the Pantheon. Going again end of October. How is the wait now on weekday? Any recommendations on best time of day to get in?
We have a very short time in Rome- Colosseum tickets in morning and Vatican tickets afternoon.
Maybe next morning before train?

I have found that going when it first opens at 9 am is less busy. Weekends you still need a reservation. Have a look at the website for current info.

We were there in June and we went about 4-5 pm and we walked right in.

I was there last week and weekend days the lines were long and you have to prebook. On Monday around 10 am we walked right in, no fee or lines.
