Panoramic Rome Bike Tour?

Hi All,

Its less than 2 months until my first trip to Italy! I was wondering if this might be a fun thing to do on our 3rd day in Rome.

We arrive on a Wednesday evening, this would be Saturday morning, and we depart for Florence on Sunday morning. We plan to do lots of walking and sightseeing the Thursday and Friday and I thought this might be a good change of pace. It seems like a lot of sights to see in 4 hours. Any thoughts? If it helps, I would definitely say we are more outdoorsy than museum goers.

You might want to wait and decide once you see Rome traffic.

Thanks for the link. Would it be comparable to trying to bike through NYC? If so, now way would I want to! I just have no idea what to expect. I was thinking we would be biking more on the outskirts and would be getting good views. I think I will just stick with walking the city. I did just buy good shoes so I am off to a good start :)
