Anyone have any suggestions on reasonably priced and reliable transfers from Palermo airport (PMO) to Mercure Palermo Centro, return, for 2 adults with 1 checked bag and 1 handbag each. Would like to prebook if possible.

I believe the Mercure Palermo Centro is only a short walk from the Teatro Politeama, and you can easily get there using the airport shuttle bus. Here's some info on the Bus....

That will be the cheapest option, but if you'd prefer a private transfer one of the others may be able to provide information on that.

Have used taxis in the past, however, on my last trip used the bus and it was safe and secure and cheap! Think it was under €10 when last there in November, which was a long way from €40-50 for a taxi. After picking up your luggage, you walk out of the terminal, turn right and you'll see the bus stop. Buses fill quickly, however, there was another one to pick me up in a few minutes. Tell the driver where you are staying, and he will tell you the stop to get off.
